ISLAMABAD:

In celebration of Pakistan's 78th Independence Day, the Punjab Council of the Arts (PUCAR), Rawalpindi, in collaboration with the All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association (APPSMA), organised a vibrant ceremony featuring a flag-hoisting, cake-cutting, speeches, Milli Naghmay (national songs), and a tableau competition under the theme "Marka-e-Haq – By Our Brave Armed Forces."

Shazia Rizwan, Parliamentary Secretary for the Information and Culture Department, Government of Punjab, distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest. In her address, she commended the patriotic spirit and heartfelt performances of the participating students.

Awards were presented to the top three performers and runners-up in three categories — Speech, National Song, and Tableau.

Speech Competition — 1st: Peak School, Rawalpindi; 2nd: Brightland School; 3rd: Sir Syed School; Runner-up: Bright School. National Song Competition — 1st: Naeem Islamia School; 2nd: Brightland School; 3rd: Saint Mary's School; Runner-up: Al Farooq School.
