K-Pop Demon Hunters continues its record-breaking run following its Netflix debut on June 20 2025. The film has become the most-watched animated title in the platform’s history and is currently Netflix’s second most-watched film of all time.
To mark its success, cinema chain Alamo Drafthouse is hosting a series of sing-along screenings across the United States on August 23 and 24 2025. The events will be held at 23 locations, with lyrics displayed onscreen for audiences to sing along with characters Mira, Rumi, and Zoey.
Tickets, available via the Alamo Drafthouse website, are selling quickly, with ticketing platform Fandango reporting sell-outs for certain screenings.
In addition to the sing-alongs, Alamo Drafthouse is organising themed parties in multiple cities, including Austin, San Antonio, Los Angeles, New York, the Bay Area, Raleigh, Denver, Chicago, Boston, Naples, Dallas, Twin Cities, and Omaha.
These party events will feature a live host, immersive photo opportunities, and film-themed merchandise.
Items available as part of the party packs include Sodapop Lip Balm, Huntrix or Saja Boys fandom buttons, Rumi, Mira, or Zoey Ramyeon Cups, Derpy & Sussie or Rujinu greeting cards, Huntrix VIP badges, glowsticks, Fit Check stickers, and photocards.
Tickets for both the singalong screenings and the themed parties are available online, with organisers warning that demand is high. Fans are encouraged to book promptly to secure attendance at their preferred location.
K-Pop Demon Hunters’ popularity continues to extend beyond streaming, with these interactive cinema events attracting significant audience interest.
