London’s 2026 Olivier Awards celebrate biggest names in theatre
Rachel Zegler, Paapa Essiedu and Rosamund Pike lead winners at 2026 Olivier Awards in London ceremony

The 2026 OLIVIER AWARDS celebrated leading achievements in theatre, with Rachel Zegler, Paapa Essiedu and Rosamund Pike among the major winners at the ceremony held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Rachel Zegler won Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in Evita at the London Palladium, delivering a widely praised rendition of “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” during the ceremony. Rosamund Pike secured Best Actress for her role in Inter Alia, staged at the National Theatre, while Paapa Essiedu won Best Actor in a Supporting Role for All My Sons, which also took home Best Revival.
Paddington The Musical emerged as one of the evening’s most successful productions, winning multiple awards including Best New Musical and Best Director for Luke Sheppard. The production also received honours for costume design and supporting performance categories.
Other notable winners included Here We Are in the Best New Musical category and All My Sons for Best Revival. Across performance categories, actors such as Tom Edden and Rachel Zegler were recognised for their contributions to musical theatre, while stage productions from leading London venues dominated the awards.
The ceremony featured performances from nominated productions, including Zegler’s musical number, which received a standing ovation. The event was hosted by Nick Mohammed and brought together prominent figures from across the theatre industry.
The OLIVIER AWARDS continue to highlight excellence in British theatre, recognising productions across drama, musical theatre, dance and opera.
