Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Virginia “Gina” Huynh, has written a letter to the judge overseeing his federal case, supporting his release on bail before his sentencing in October.
Huynh, referred to as "Victim-3" in the indictment, stated she no longer views Combs as a danger to herself or the public.
In the letter submitted by Diddy's legal team, Huynh acknowledged past issues but emphasized Combs’ growth, writing, “He has not been violent for many years, and he has been committed to being a father first.” She added that Combs has shown cooperation throughout the investigation and deserves the chance to care for his family while awaiting sentencing.
“This is his first criminal case,” she wrote. “Granting him bond would allow him to continue caring for his family and fulfilling his responsibilities while still subject to the Court’s supervision.”

Combs is currently incarcerated following his conviction on two counts of transportation for prostitution. The government accused him of coercing multiple women into commercial sex acts using force and threats. Though Huynh was mentioned in the indictment, she did not testify during the trial.
Despite damaging testimony from others — including a former assistant who claimed Combs threw apples at Huynh — she described a man who had “embodied an energy of love, patience and gentleness” by the end of their relationship.
Combs’ legal team continues to push for his release as his October 3 sentencing approaches.
