ISLAMABAD:

The Supreme Court on Tuesday adjourned hearings on the bail petitions of PTI founder Imran Khan until August 12.

A division bench comprising CJP Yahya Afridi and Justice Shafi Siddiqui heard the case. During the hearing, lawyer Salman Akram Raja appeared before the bench and informed the court that fellow counsel Salman Safdar had sought a postponement.

Raja requested the court to reschedule the hearing for the following week and also issue fresh notices.

However, the bench denied both requests and adjourned the hearing until August 12 on the basis of the pending adjournment plea by Safdar.
