Convention: Govt trying to resolve CNG dealer issues, Hussain

Fast track development of new fields for increased supply of gas to solve gas shortage problems.

Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr Asim Hussain has said that the government is cognisant of the problems faced by compressed natural gas (CNG) dealers and is striving to resolve their issues.


However, he added, concerns of all other stakeholders will also be considered.

He was speaking at All Pakistan CNG Association’s convention titled “My Fuel CNG” here on Monday.

Hussain said that the petroleum ministry has taken various policy decisions, including fast track development of new fields for increased supply of gas, steps for increased storage capacity of petroleum products among others.
