A man allegedly shot and killed his elderly parents and wife over a dispute regarding land proceeds in the Bhagat area of Mandi Bahauddin on Monday.
As per the First Information Report (FIR) registered under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code at Bhagat Police Station, the suspect - a man who had returned from abroad just four days earlier - fatally opened fire on his father, mother, and wife following a heated argument.
Police officials confirmed the tragic incident and said the accused fled the scene with the murder weapon.
"A deeply disturbing crime occurred in Thana Bhagat. The suspect shot his family members following a property-related argument. A search operation is underway," said a police spokesperson.
