Peacock has officially renewed Days of Our Lives for both its 62nd and 63rd seasons, reinforcing its commitment to the iconic soap opera that has become a staple in daytime television for decades.
Currently in its 61st season, Days of Our Lives—commonly known as DOOL—has consistently ranked among the top 15 entertainment series on Peacock since its move to the platform in September 2022. The show’s continued success is underscored by its 13 Daytime Emmy nominations this year, including a nod for Outstanding Daytime Drama Series. This marks the most Emmy nominations the series has received since its shift to streaming.
The nominations include standout performances by Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis), Blake Berris (Everett Lynch), Emily O’Brien (Theresa Donovan), and Linsey Godfrey (Sarah Horton). Ashley Puzemis, who plays Holly Jonas, received a nomination in the emerging talent category. The show also earned recognition in directing, writing, and casting.
Produced by Corday Productions Inc. in association with Sony Pictures Television, Days of Our Lives holds the title of the longest-running scripted television program in the world. It has a global audience, streaming in countries such as Canada, Sweden, New Zealand, Israel, South Africa, and Australia.
This renewal comes shortly after the series aired its final episode featuring the late Bill Hayes, another emotional milestone for its dedicated fanbase. With seasons 62 and 63 now confirmed, DOOL continues its legacy as a cornerstone of daytime drama.
