Two cops suspended for misconduct

Any involvement in illegal activities would not be tolerated under any circumstances

KARACHI:

Two police officers posted at Sharafi Goth police station have been suspended for their alleged involvement in illegal activities on the orders of SSP Malir, Dr Abdul Khaliq Pirzada. The SSP has also ordered a formal departmental inquiry by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Malir City.

According to official sources, Head Constable Sultan Khan and Constable Sarwar are accused of being involved in unlawful conduct.

SSP Pirzada emphasised that honesty, adherence to the law, and a strong sense of responsibility are fundamental principles of police service. He reiterated that any involvement in illegal activities would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
