
The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) confiscated and discarded more than 2,270 kilogrammes of diseased poultry in Tollinton Market. Officials set up roadblocks and inspected over 89,000kg early in the morning.
The officials checked 25 storage units and suppliers in the city's biggest meat market, leading to fines imposed on three businesses for violating food safety regulations.
