AMC launches high-tech exam lab
A state-of-the-art computer lab and student resource centre was inaugurated at Ayub Medical College Abbottabad on Sunday.
It was inaugurated by Professor Dr Ziaul Haq, Vice Chancellor of Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar.
The facility is equipped with modern technology, including a control room and high-end computers, aimed at streamlining the examination process.
Dr Zia praised the Board of Governors and Dean of the college for the initiative, stating that the lab will ensure transparency in the exam system by shifting from paper-based to computer-based assessments.
He added that all exams would now be conducted in the lab, and results will be released immediately, helping students complete their five-year medical program on time.
Professor Dr Abid Jamil, Chairman of the Board of Governors, emphasized that the institution is rapidly evolving and more modern facilities will be introduced soon.
Officials, faculty members, and representatives from KMU and AMC's IT departments attended the event, which was hailed as a key step toward modernisation in medical education.
