Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Friday chaired a high-level security meeting to review the province's law and order situation in light of the recent Sardhaka tragedy, where nine passengers were kidnapped and brutally murdered.
The Inspector General of Police, Balochistan, provided a detailed briefing on the incident, sharing updates on the ongoing investigation and the security operations underway in the affected area. During the session, the chief minister issued strict directives to law enforcement agencies, urging swift and decisive action against those responsible. "The pursuit of these terrorists will continue until they are brought to justice. There will be no compromise on enforcing the law in Balochistan," he said, adding that security forces have been granted authority to act beyond usual jurisdictional boundaries if needed.
He also directed relevant departments to enhance emergency response mechanisms to ensure better preparedness in the future.
Meanwhile, the bodies of the nine victims were transported to their hometowns in Punjab under tight security.
