Justin Bieber drops new album 'Swag' with Gunna, Sexyy Red, Lil B and more in surprise release
Released just hours after its announcement, Justin Bieber's seventh studio album Swag features a 21-track lineup and collaborations with Gunna, Sexyy Red, Lil B, Druski, Dijon, Cash Cobain, Eddie Benjamin and Marvin Winans.
The final track, Forgiveness, offers a rendition of Lord, I Lift Your Name on High.
Bieber co-produced the project with Carter Lang, Dylan Wiggins, Daniel Caesar, mk.gee, Daniel Chetrit and Knox Fortune, among others.
Hints of the release appeared via billboard campaigns in Iceland, Atlanta and Los Angeles, each showing Bieber and the album title. The singer confirmed their authenticity on Instagram, also sharing a Times Square video revealing the tracklist and behind-the-scenes images with his wife Hailey and son Jack Blues.
Within hours of the drop, fans flooded social media with acclaim. One user tweeted, “yeah so i’m 3 tracks in… please give Justin Bieber his flowers,” highlighting immediate emotional impact.
Others pointed to the album’s sonic ambition, with posts like “THE PRODUCTION ON THESE SONGS IS OTHERWORLDLY????” and “I can’t believe music this good is on an album called swag,” underlining both surprise and admiration for the quality of the sound.
Listeners also noticed a creative shift: “Justin was literally being held back by Scooter and them… it’s a melting pot of musical themes and styles,” said another fan, suggesting that Bieber’s independence has unlocked new artistic freedom.
Swag is Bieber’s first major release since 2021’s Justice, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
He cancelled his Justice World Tour in 2022 due to health reasons and returned to the stage in 2025 with SZA.
Swag is now streaming on all major platforms.
