Kim Kardashian has shared a moving tribute to her late childhood friend, Lindsay May Palevsky, who passed away in November after battling a rare cancer. The 44-year-old reality star and entrepreneur posted a heartfelt message on Instagram marking what would have been Lindsay’s birthday.

Lindsay was part of Kim’s close-knit group of friends known as the ‘Lifers.’ Reflecting on their annual lake getaway, a tradition Lindsay cherished, Kim wrote about the emotional weight of her absence. “Nothing really captures how quiet and empty our Lifers chat feels without you in it,” she said. “Our world is not the same without you.”

She recalled how the lake was Lindsay’s ‘happy place’ and how every part of their recent trip reminded her of her friend. “We felt your absence this year in every sunset, every laugh, every quiet moment,” she added.

Kim also revealed it took her months to find the words to express her grief, saying, “I waited months to post this, mostly because I couldn’t find the right words.”

Their friend Simone Harouche also shared memories from the birthday trip, including a cake with Lindsay’s name misspelled - a moment the group knew Lindsay would have found funny. “All the kids were together too, and I know that would’ve made you so happy,” Simone wrote.

Kim ended her tribute by promising to hold onto their lake tradition: “We’ll always have the lake, and in that, we’ll always have a piece of you.”
