Lorde stunned fans at her album release party in Berlin on Wednesday, where she performed for an intimate group of lucky attendees. The event, held at the riverside venue Spindler & Klatt, was a celebration for the launch of her new album Virgin. Fans had no idea that the 28-year-old singer would take the stage herself, making the performance an unexpected highlight of the evening.

Lorde, who arrived at the venue via boat, sported a casual yet stylish look, flashing her midriff in a crossover halterneck top with a tassel trim, paired with black cargo trousers. She accessorized with rectangular sunglasses and styled her hair in waves. The surprise performance was hosted by Universal Music to mark the release of her highly anticipated fourth studio album.

The album’s cover artwork has sparked conversation, featuring an x-ray of a pelvis showing her hip bones, belt buckle, and even an intrauterine device. While it’s unclear whether the image is of Lorde herself, the striking visual was shared by the artist on her Instagram, along with the announcement of the album's title and release date—June 27.

Lorde’s appearance in Berlin follows her recent public debut of a romance with musician and producer Jim E-Stack, 33. The pair were seen together at the Glastonbury Festival over the weekend, where Lorde performed a surprise set. Following the festival, the couple was spotted at London Heliport, further fueling rumors of their blossoming relationship. E-Stack, known for his work with artists like Haim, Bon Iver, and Empress Of, was also seen with Lorde at the festival, where they were photographed getting close on stage.

However, their romance has drawn attention due to E-Stack's ex-girlfriend, Kacy Hill, who recently took to TikTok to express her frustration over the end of their six-and-a-half-year relationship, allegedly following E-Stack’s collaboration with Lorde.
