Punjab Governor Sardar Lateef Khosa visited the Governor House and met with Dr Ishratul Ebad and Manzoor Wassan on Sunday.
Khosa lauded the efforts of the home minister for his dynamic role in curbing terrorism and his efforts to create a consensus with the political and religious parties.
Wassan said that targeted action is being taken against criminals without any political bias. It will continue till peace is established. All parties were cooperating with the provincial government and the law enforcement agencies doing their jobs without any political pressure. Ebad said that the unrest and lawlessness in the city directly affects the country. They urged the Pakistanis living abroad to help to tackle the devastations inflicted by the floods and the dengue epidemic in the country.
