Tallulah Willis is standing by her decision to share photos of her father, Bruce Willis, on Instagram, following backlash from a social media user who questioned the family's privacy choices amid his ongoing health struggles.
Over the weekend, Tallulah posted a few candid and heart-warming pictures of her father during a family gathering. Captioning the post “Sunday funday at Grams! Grateful,” she offered a glimpse into what appeared to be a joyful moment for the Willis family. However, not all followers responded positively.
One user criticised the post, writing, “I don’t think you should expose your dad to the public! He is vulnerable! And some things should be kept private! You don’t have his permission to post it!”
Tallulah replied with compassion and clarity: “Hi. I hear that. As a family we use our discretion when posting. Today was a great day filled with smiles. I made the judgment call to show that to the world, because I know what he means to everyone.”
Bruce Willis, 70, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in early 2023, following an initial diagnosis of aphasia in 2022. His family - including ex-wife Demi Moore and daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah, as well as wife Emma Heming Willis and their daughters Mabel and Evelyn - have been open about his health journey, aiming to raise awareness while keeping fans connected to the actor many admire.
The family has often spoken about the importance of sharing moments that show Bruce surrounded by love, even during difficult times, a sentiment echoed in Tallulah’s response to critics.
