KARACHI. Governor Kamran Tessori has said that Governor House is always open to public. He said that Awais Qadir Shah is worthy of respect both as Speaker Sindh Assembly as well as in his personal capacity.
According to Governor House spokesperson, the Acting Governor Awais Qadir Shah had a misunderstanding about the situation when he came for a meeting. Home Secretary, Inspector General, DIGs, and other officers were present in the conference room for the meeting.
The spokesperson said that a specific office for Acting Governor had been prepared in advance. If the intention was to use the main office, arrangements would have been made had they received a prior notice.
The spokesperson said that the Principal Secretary to the Governor has been instructed to complete an inquiry into the incident within 24 hours.
