The police arrested eight suspects during a targeted crackdown on drug trafficking and illegal weapons in Lalamusa.
According to a police spokesperson, SHO Muhammad Ihsan along with other officials conducted raids that led to the seizure of liquor, 120 grams of crystal meth, an unlicensed 30-bore pistol and a stolen motorcycle.
The arrested suspects were identified as Khalid Bashir of Dhamma, Zeeshan of the Lal Masjid area, Sikandar and Qaiser of Charaghpura, Zohaib of Mohallah Moor Shah, Anwar of Faisal Pura, Fani Shah of Tanki Mohallah, and Rizwan of Lalamusa, who is allegedly involved in motorcycle theft.
Cases were registered against the arrested suspects and investigations against them were under way.
