Beyoncé added a personal touch to her Cowboy Carter Tour by helping a couple reveal the sex of their baby live onstage. The moment took place on night four of her tour stop at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
During her performance, Beyoncé noticed a fan’s sign that read, “First born, Carter. Gender reveal. Right now?” She acknowledged the request, said she would return, and left the stage briefly.
Later in the show, Beyoncé, dressed in a black jumpsuit with flared American flag-themed bottoms, kept her promise. Holding the couple’s sealed envelope, she said, “I’mma take my time,” before revealing the result.
As the camera zoomed in on the note inside, she read aloud, “It’s a boy! God bless you. Congratulations.”
She added, “Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it,” to the cheering crowd. The heartfelt moment was captured and shared widely on social media, including a post by her mother, Tina Knowles.
