During Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial in New York, rapper Kid Cudi testified about a 2012 arson attack on his Porsche, as prosecutors presented photographs in court showing the remains of a Molotov cocktail used in the fire.

Kid Cudi, whose legal name is Scott Mescudi, recounted how his Porsche was set ablaze after a Molotov cocktail was allegedly thrown inside. He said his dog watcher alerted him to the fire and that damage to the vehicle’s roof indicated someone had cut it open before igniting the explosive.

Prosecutors submitted into evidence detailed photographs showing burnt upholstery, shattered glass, and the charred remnants of the Molotov cocktail.

Cudi had previously dated Cassie, who testified that Diddy threatened to blow up Cudi’s car during a jealous outburst. Cudi also recalled a meeting at a Los Angeles hotel where Diddy appeared emotionally detached, likening his stance to that of a “Marvel supervillain.” Though Diddy later offered an ambiguous apology, he never took responsibility for the fire.

Diddy’s legal team denies all allegations and disputes any involvement in the arson. The trial resumes Tuesday following a court recess.
