
The ranking of districts of Rawalpindi and Murree in the Rawalpindi Region have dropped significantly in terms of over all performance, says a district-wise performance report issued by the Punjab government for the month of April.
Due to poor performance, Rawalpindi district has fallen significantly in rankings, dropping from the top three to 26th place, while the hill station of Murree has dropped to 25th place. Lahore district ranks 11th in the performance report.
According to the report, Bahawalnagar district ranks first, followed by Layyah in second, and Pakpattan in third as for as best performers are concerned. Rajanpur district is ranked fourth, Vehari fifth, Chiniot sixth, and Lodhran remained seventh. Okara district is in eighth, Khanewal ninth, and Rahim Yar Khan is in tenth rank.
Mandi Bahauddin is in 12th place, Faisalabad in 13th, Bhakkar in 14th, Toba Tek Singh in 15th, Multan in 16th, Muzaffargarh in 17th, while Gujranwala has beendeclared 18th in ranking.
Mianwali is ranked 19th, Gujrat 20th, Sargodha 21st, Bahawalpur 22nd, Sahiwal 23rd, Khushab 24th, Nankana Sahib 27th, Sheikhupura 28th, Attock 29th, and Sialkot falls at 30th.
