Woman alleges assault by impostor

A girl has alleged that she was sexually assaulted by a man, who posed as a senior officer of a sensitive agency and tricked her into marriage, for three years.

The incident took place in the Airport area of Rawalpindi. When the mother brought the girl home, the accused also reached there and tortured the girl. The police registered a case and started investigation.

The ill-fated victim complained to the police that she met Arsalan Hayat three years ago who introduced himself as a brigadier of a sensitive agency and asked for a job in a sensitive agency by posing as an influential officer and mentioning special task.

She fell for the trick of this fake officer. The man kept introducing the girl to a property agent, also rented a flat in a private housing society and kept raping her by tricking her into marriage for three years.

During this time, she got pregnant twice and the suspect went for forced abortions from a clinic. When the girl's mother found out, she brought her daughter home.

Hayat followed the girl at her mother's home and subjected her to torture. The victim alerted the emergency police and later submitted an application to the relevant police check post. However, the complainant said that the police paid no heed to her application.
