Jeff Sperbeck, longtime agent and close friend of NFL legend John Elway, has died at the age of 62 following a tragic golf cart accident at The Madison Club in La Quinta, California.

The incident occurred on April 26, 2025, as the group returned from a Stagecoach Festival afterparty.

According to reports, Sperbeck fell from the back of a golf cart that was being driven by Elway. The fall resulted in a traumatic brain injury, and Sperbeck was rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, he was placed on life support, with doctors ultimately determining that he could not recover.
