The visit took place at The Coterie, the facility Wendy has previously described as a “luxury prison.”

Wendy Williams has been in an ongoing legal battle to regain control of her finances and personal affairs, challenging a court-ordered guardianship that has been in place since 2022. Her supporters and family members have voiced concern over the arrangement, and her case has attracted growing public attention.
Earlier this month, Wendy was seen spending time with journalist Don Lemon and has also been seen out with her niece, Alex, suggesting she's maintaining some level of social engagement despite her limited freedom.
Sharpton noted that his involvement usually signals a situation of serious concern, especially as legal documents suggest her career may be officially over. His public show of support could bring further visibility to Wendy’s guardianship struggle and potentially rally more advocates to her side.
