Actors Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick appeared to put past tension behind them as they posed together at a London photocall for their upcoming film, Another Simple Favor.
The event, held at the Corinthia London hotel, marked a notable shift in their dynamic following a noticeably awkward moment at the film's SXSW premiere last month.
Kendrick, 39, wore a bold red vest and skirt combo with sparkly gold heels, while Lively, 37, opted for a preppy black cardigan with gold trim, a black skirt, tights, and knee-high boots. The two actresses smiled for the cameras in front of the London Eye, engaging in what seemed to be a light-hearted conversation. They later joined other cast and crew members, including director Paul Feig, for group shots.
The friendly interaction follows SXSW, where Kendrick gave an awkward response to a question about reuniting with Lively, saying only, “Oh, you know…” before walking away. Meanwhile, Lively had described the reunion as “the best” and expressed how “happy” she was.
Despite their public reunion in London, fans are still speculating about off-screen drama, especially amid Lively’s ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. Kendrick has not commented publicly on the lawsuit but praised directors during her speech at the 2025 BAFTA Awards, sparking speculation about her allegiances.
The highly anticipated sequel to A Simple Favor brings back both stars alongside a talented ensemble cast. The film is set for release later this year, and the press tour has already become a focal point of celebrity news and social media buzz.
