A 30-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself after a heated argument with his father in Gawalmandi's Dil Muhammad Road area, police and rescue officials said.
The deceased, identified as Hamza Irfan, reportedly tied a noose to a ceiling fan and took his own life following a dispute with his father, Irfan Majeed.
Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area, and collected forensic evidence with the help of investigators.
"The body has been shifted to the morgue for postmortem, and further legal proceedings are underway," said a police official. Family members told authorities that Hamza was deeply distressed after the altercation.
