DDG sparks buzz with sonogram post of “Halo’s little brother” amid co-parenting with ex Halle Bailey

The rapper, who shares a one-year-old son named Halo with singer Halle Bailey, quickly became a trending topic on social media. However, it was soon revealed that the sonogram image used in the post was taken from a 2020 article published by the Global Action Plan Organisation, unrelated to the rapper or any pregnancy news.

This isn’t the first time DDG has teased pregnancy news on April 1. Two years ago, he posted another sonogram image that later turned out to be real, as Halle Bailey was indeed expecting at the time. The pattern has left some fans sceptical, while others criticised him for playing with such sensitive topics.

“You are Halo’s little brother,” one user replied sarcastically. Another wrote, “He did this last time and she was really pregnant!!” Many were quick to point out the recycled nature of the image, dismissing the post as a poorly timed joke.

The post comes amid an ongoing co-parenting arrangement between DDG and Bailey, who are no longer together. Since their split, the rapper has made public claims that Bailey was limiting his access to their son. He previously alleged that their child’s nanny was seeing the boy more than he was.

Recently, however, the situation appears to have calmed, with reports suggesting that communication between the two parents has improved.
