Govt to give 1,000 wheat growers free tractors
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched a scheme for distributing 1,000 free tractors among farmers under the CM Punjab Wheat Initiative.
She performed digital balloting for the wheat cultivation scheme.
The first tractor in the campaign was allocated to a woman farmer from Bahawalnagar, Kausar Parveen.
The CM called and congratulated the successful farmers on getting free tractors. She said on the occasion, "The Punjab government has launched projects for the uplift of farmers, including Green Tractor, Kisan Card and Super Seeder."
