Nawaz visits Mattani attack victims at Lady Reading Hospital
Nawaz condemns this week's attack on school children in Mattani and the suicide blast in Dir during funeral prayers.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif on Friday said that the government should take concrete steps to counter terrorism and extremism.

The statement was made when he was talking to the media after visiting the injured at the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar.
He condemned this week's attack on school children in Mattani and the suicide blast in Dir during funeral prayers on Thursday.

Earlier, Nawaz Sharif distributed bouquets among the school children who were injured by firing in the Mattani incident.
On Tuesday this week, Taliban insurgents ambushed a school bus , killing four pupils and the driver in a hail of bullets and rocket fire in Peshawar’s suburban Mattani area. Another 18 people, including four children, two of them seven-year-old girls, were also wounded in the attack.
