A woman and her daughter lost their lives in a collision on Shujaabad Road when a speeding car crashed into a rickshaw near Baqaraabad on Saturday.
Muhammad Aslam, a resident of Lodhran Super Chowk, was traveling with his family when the accident occurred.
His eight-year-old daughter, Sadia, died on the spot, while his wife, 40-year-old Sameera Bibi, succumbed to her injuries at Bahawal Victoria Hospital after initial treatment at DHQ Hospital.
His fifteen-year-old daughter, Uzma, sustained injuries and was provided medical assistance before being shifted to DHQ Hospital Lodhran.
Lodhran police have impounded the vehicle.
