
The federal government has taken serious note of concerns expressed by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (Pakistan) over development projects and funds for Karachi and Hyderabad.
Following the MQM-P's reservation, Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal held a Zoom meeting from Jeddah on Thursday.
Early start of work on development projects and release of funds for Karachi and Hyderabad was in focus in the meeting.
The federal minister assured MQM-P of early commencement of development projects. He also mentioned that the government would address all other concerns of MQM-P as well.
The federal minister also assured the MQM-P that funds worth Rs15 billion for Karachi and Rs5 billion for Hyderabad would be expedited.
