
Pakistan's women’s cricket team will begin a training camp in Lahore on Friday in preparation for the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifier.
Head coach Mohammad Wasim will oversee the camp, with 19 players selected by the national women’s selection committee.
The first phase of the camp was held in Faisalabad, featuring 33 players.
Leg-spinner Tuba Hassan has been ruled out due to a fractured finger, while veteran all-rounder Nida Dar has been included in the squad.
ICC had announced the full schedule for Women's World Cup qualifiers earlier, to take place in Lahore. Pakistan will kick off the qualifiers on April 9 against Ireland.
The selected players for the camp are: Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, Fatima Sana, Ghulam Fatima, Gul Feroza, Muneeba Ali (wicketkeeper), Najia Alvi (wicketkeeper), Nashra Sandhu, Natalia Pervaiz, Nida Dar, Omaima Sohail, Rameen Shamim, Sadia Iqbal, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Sidra Ameen, Sidra Nawaz (wicketkeeper), Syeda Aroob Shah, Tasmia Rubab, and Umm-e-Hani.
