
The legal noose around the neck of main accused Armughan in Mustafa Amir murder case has been tightened further. The prosecution has sought details of all the cases registered against him.
The Sindh Prosecutor General has sought a report from the District Prosecutor General seeking information about how many cases are registered against Armughan and what is the status of these cases.
According to details, drug trafficking, abusing and threatening a lawyer and his family and other criminal cases are registered against the accused in district south police stations.
Remand extended
The Judicial Magistrate South has extended the physical remand of the accused in the bank fraud case.
The accused, husband of actor Nadia Hussain, was produced before the court of Judicial Magistrate South after his earlier remand in the case was completed. The court extended the physical remand of the accused till March 18 and ordered the authorities that the accused should be taken to the doctor on Monday.
The prosecution argued that the investigation against the accused Atif Khan is ongoing, so, a 7-day remand should be given as the recovery has to be made from him.
