Govt announces early salary payment for employees ahead of Eid

The federal government has announced that it will pay salaries and pensions to government employees before Eid, with a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance.

According to reports, officials from the Ministry of Finance have stated that Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to fall on March 31 or April 1. As a result, the federal government has decided to disburse salaries and pensions to government employees before Eid.

As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, it has been decided that government employees will receive their salaries on March 27.

The notification further stated that pensions for retirees will also be disbursed on the same day.

Additionally, the Ministry of Finance has sent a letter to the Controller General of Accounts regarding the payment of salaries and pensions.
