LAHORE:

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore has extended the pre-arrest bails of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmakers involved in cases related to the May 9 riots, including the Jinnah House attack and the arson at Askari Tower, which were registered.

ATC Judge extended the pre-arrest bail of PTI lawmaker Farhat Abbas in four cases until April 8, while the bail of Ali Imtiaz was extended until April 4.

Several FIRs were registered against PTI lawmakers in different police stations, charging them with inciting unrest, arson and creating lawlessness in reaction to Imran Khan's arrest.

Police officials requested additional time to present the case record, stating that the relevant documents had been submitted to the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
