Man kills wife over domestic dispute

LAHORE:

In the Shalimar area of Lahore a man shot and killed his 25-year-old wife following a domestic dispute.

The suspect, identified as Javed, attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by the Dolphin Squad. Police said the incident occurred in Ghousia Chowk, where Javed, in a fit of rage, opened fire on his wife, Kinza, resulting in her death.

Upon receiving reports of the shooting, a Dolphin Squad unit responded, arresting the suspect along with the murder weapon. He was handed over to the Shalimar police station for further legal proceedings.

The victim's body was shifted to a hospital for post-mortem examination.
