As Luigi Mangione continues his high-profile court hearings, Gypsy Rose Blanchard has offered him advice on dealing with public attention—specifically, the overwhelming fan mail he is receiving.

Blanchard, who served seven years in prison for her involvement in her mother’s murder, knows firsthand how controversial cases can attract unsolicited messages. Speaking with TMZ, she warned Mangione about the risks of engaging with supporters. “There’s a lot of weirdos out there,” she said. “Ignore them.”

Blanchard explained that while receiving mail can be uplifting, it’s crucial to distinguish between those with genuine intentions and those looking for personal gain. “It’s good to buoy your spirits,” TMZ reported, “but it’s important to recognize people who are truly reaching out versus those seeking something from you.”

In addition to Mangione, Blanchard also shared words of wisdom for the Menendez brothers, who are seeking release after decades in prison. She advised them to take time away from the media spotlight if freed. “Work on yourself, get your feet on the ground,” she suggested, before engaging with public life.

Since her release in 2023, Blanchard has focused on family and personal growth. She and her fiancé, Ken Urker, welcomed their daughter Aurora in 2024. She is also sharing her post-prison journey in Gypsy-Rose: Life After Lock Up, premiering March 10, 2025, on Lifetime.
