Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, former wife of actor David Hasselhoff, reportedly died by suicide at age 62.

According to TMZ, Bach-Hasselhoff, an actress known for her roles in television series such as 'Baywatch' and 'The Young and the Restless,' was discovered dead at her Hollywood Hills residence from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Wednesday night.

Authorities did not find a suicide note at the scene. Emergency services were alerted around 10 pm after family members grew concerned due to her absence over several days. Her home, valued at approximately $2 million, is located near Universal Studios.

David Hasselhoff, 72, expressed the family’s deep sorrow in a statement to TMZ, requesting privacy as they grieve and navigate this difficult period. Bach-Hasselhoff and Hasselhoff were married from 1989 until their contentious divorce in 2006, with financial disputes regarding spousal support continuing into 2017. They had two daughters together, Hayley, 32, and Taylor, 34, and a granddaughter named London.

Following news of her mother’s death, daughter Hayley shared a photo of Bach-Hasselhoff on Instagram. Bach-Hasselhoff remained active on social media until December 31, 2024, when she posted an optimistic message reflecting on gratitude and family, especially highlighting her granddaughter.

Bach-Hasselhoff began her acting career in Francis Ford Coppola's 1983 film 'Rumble Fish.' She subsequently gained wider recognition on television, notably portraying café owner Kaye Morgan in 'Baywatch.' Her acting credits include appearances on series such as 'The Fall Guy' and 'Sirens.' In 2011, Bach-Hasselhoff appeared on the reality show 'Celebrity Big Brother.' She had since stepped away from acting in recent years.

Hasselhoff had previously discussed publicly the challenges related to ongoing alimony payments, which had initially been $21,000 monthly but were reduced to $5,000 by 2017.
