KARACHI:

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday extended the physical remand of Armughan Qureshi, the prime accused in the high-profile Mustafa Aamir kidnapping and murder case until March 10. The court, however, sent co-accused Shiraz to jail on judicial remand.

The two accused were presented before ATC No 4 after the conclusion of their previous remand. Defence lawyer Abid Zaman raised objections, calling for a detailed police investigation report and the submission of an interim challan. The lawyer also claimed that the accused was being subjected to torture.
