ISLAMABAD:

The Petroleum Dealers Association on Monday withdrew its strike call, following successful negotiations with the government, the Express News reported.

The report stated that the talks were held between the petroleum secretary and a delegation of the association.

The Petroleum Dealers Association said that the government accepted their demands, such as their margin of profit would not be affected by the government's planned deregulation policy and a crackdown on the smuggling of Iranian petrol into the country.
