Rihanna & A$AP Rocky Are Already Thinking About Baby No. 3—And They Might Name It After Their Lawyer!

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have a lot to celebrate right now. The rapper, 36, was found not guilty in his Los Angeles assault trial earlier this week, and the couple wasted no time sharing their joy—quite literally.

After the verdict was announced, Rocky jumped into Rihanna’s arms in a moment straight out of a movie. But that wasn’t the only wild moment of the day.

Apparently, the couple is already thinking about baby No. 3, and they’ve got an unexpected name in mind.

According to Rocky’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, Rihanna and Rocky pulled him aside after the trial and told him,

“Listen, our next baby is A$AP Joe.”

Yes, you read that right. A$AP Rocky and Rihanna might be naming their future child after their lawyer.

And honestly? It’s kind of iconic.

Rocky’s legal troubles began back in 2022 when he was charged with assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

Prosecutors accused him of shooting his former friend, A$AP Relli, during an altercation outside a Hollywood parking garage in 2021.

Rocky, who has consistently denied the allegations and even denied a 6 month jail offer, was facing up to 24 years in prison if convicted.

After a nearly four-week trial, a Los Angeles jury finally delivered their verdict on Tuesday: Not guilty.

The rapper, overwhelmed with emotion, celebrated by hugging everyone around him before leaping into Rihanna’s arms and exclaiming, “Thank y’all for saving my life.”

For Rocky’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, the trial was personal. He fought tirelessly for his client’s freedom and later reflected on their bond, sharing that Rocky had some heartfelt words for him before the verdict was announced.

“He didn’t know if he was going to go home and see his two babies that night or start a, you know, a decadelong prison sentence, literally, that day, and he looked at me, and he grabbed me, and he said, ‘Joe, I want you to know I know how hard you fought here. I know everything you’ve done, and I just appreciate you so much. I appreciate everything you’ve done for me… and we’re in this together no matter what, and I love you."

The emotional moment hit home for Tacopina, who later admitted, “That’s why I got emotional in that summation at the end, five and a half hours of me speaking straight to a jury. At the end, it all crescendoed when I started talking about him and how important he is to me, and how good of a person he is and Rihanna and their family, and how much I appreciated them putting their trust in me.”

While there’s no official word yet on when baby No. 3 might arrive, one thing’s for sure: If Rihanna and A$AP Rocky actually go through with naming their next child after their lawyer, it’ll be one for the books.
