In a Vogue interview, Kuzma explained his thoughtful approach to creating Winnie’s ring. “I never really asked her what type of ring she liked,” he shared. “I just wanted to draw a picture of what I felt resembled her—something elegant, but very timeless and simplistic at the same time.” The result was an 8.5-carat diamond set between two baguette stones.
The proposal was inspired by their first trip to the Caribbean island in 2022. Before popping the question, Kyle read Winnie a poem, and she later admitted she had a feeling a proposal was coming. After she said yes, he surprised her with a beachside dinner, where both of their families joined the celebration.
The couple first confirmed their relationship in May 2020, and now they are planning their future together.
