A newlywed woman mysteriously disappeared six days after her wedding, leaving the groom with no choice but to seek police assistance.
Investigations have uncovered a well-organized gang using marriage as a facade for looting unsuspecting victims. Following the groom's complaint, Bhakkar's Saddar Police Station registered a case and initiated an investigation. Meanwhile, the distressed groom has appealed to the authorities to help recover his bride and the stolen valuables worth millions.
The victim, Mukhtiar, a resident of village Ping Lad in Tehsil Mankera, told the media that he and his family were simple village folk who had been deceived and financially drained. He revealed that a man named Muhammad Ramzan, allegedly part of the gang, arranged his marriage for Rs300,000.
A formal wedding took place, and Mukhtiar was legally married to Kosar Bibi.
However, just six days later, during the late hours of the night, his newlywed bride vanished.
Not only did she flee, but she also took gold jewellery, including four gold bangles and earrings, valued at approximately Rs1.4 million.
When Mukhtiar approached his in-laws for answers, they allegedly threatened him with dire consequences and even brandished weapons.
