Dar to attend UNSC meeting on 18th

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will visit the United States to participate in a high-level meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), scheduled for 18th of this month.
According to the Foreign Office, the meeting will be chaired by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. On the sidelines of the meeting, Dar, who is also the deputy prime minister, is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts and senior UN officials.
As the rotating president of the UNSC for February, China will hold a high-level event on February 18 under the theme of "Practicing Multilateralism, Reforming and Improving Global Governance".
