Bollywood superstar Salman Khan gave a unique spin to Valentine’s Day this year, choosing to celebrate love with his family instead of a romantic partner.
The actor shared a rare and heartwarming family photo on Instagram and X, coining the term ‘Familitines Day’ to mark the occasion.
In the group picture, Salman posed with his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, along with his mothers Salma and Helen. His brothers Arbaaz and Sohail Khan, sisters Alvira and Arpita, and their spouses and children were also present, making it a complete family gathering.
With his signature humour, Salman captioned the post, “Agnihotrians, Sharmanians, and Khanenians wish you all a happy Familitines Day.” The unconventional Valentine’s message struck a chord with fans, who flooded the comments section with admiration. “Familitines Day it is from now,” one user wrote, while another called it “the best Valentine’s post.”

Over the years, the actor has kept his personal life private, often avoiding discussions about relationships, and this post reaffirmed where his priorities lie.
In a recent podcast appearance, Salman also shared his thoughts on heartbreak and moving on. Speaking with his nephew Arhaan Khan on Dumb Biryani, the actor offered his no-nonsense approach to breakups.
“Girlfriend broke up and went away? It’s okay, go. Bye-bye. When you have to take out a bandaid, how do you do it? You pull it out. Go to the room, cry, then forget about it and come out saying, ‘What’s up, how’s it going?’” he said, offering his usual blend of wit and wisdom.
On the professional front, Salman Khan is currently busy with Sikandar, an action-packed drama directed by AR Murugadoss. The film features Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role, with a supporting cast that includes Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar.
The highly anticipated project is set for a grand Eid release on 18 March, and fans are eager to see Salman in an action-packed avatar once again.
