Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor and his former partner, Malaika Arora, appeared together for the first time since their breakup last year, on a dance reality show.
Arjun Kapoor joined the grand finale of the show to promote his upcoming film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, where Malaika Arora serves as a judge alongside Geeta Kapur and Remo D’Souza.
During the episode, contestants paid tribute to Malaika Arora by performing some of her most iconic dance numbers. The actress and television personality then joined them on stage, dancing to her signature hits.
When asked to share his thoughts on the performance, Arjun Kapoor playfully responded, "Meri bolti band ho chuki hai saalon se, mai abhi bhi chup rehna chahta hu (My mouth has been shut for many years; I prefer being quiet now also)."
He continued, saying, "I have got a chance to hear all my favourite songs, which just show the career and the life that she has had. The kind of music, the kind of performances, and the fact that we can pay tribute to somebody who is still doing such an amazing job, so congratulations, Malaika. You know how much I love all these songs. It was wonderful to see you being celebrated like this."
Malaika Arora, keeping her response brief, simply smiled and thanked him.
Their lighthearted banter continued later in the show when Arjun Kapoor quipped, "She is comparing as if she is going to get the trophy." He further joked, "Inki competition ko mujhse acha kaun jaanta hai (No one knows about her competitive nature better than me)."
When asked for her reaction, Malaika Arora dismissed the remark, replying, "Nothing, aage badho (Move forward)."
Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora were in a relationship for six years before parting ways in 2024. While neither publicly addressed the reason for their split, reports suggest the decision was mutual.

Earlier, Arjun Kapoor had a rather unexpected moment during a promotional event.
While interacting with fans, a loud shout of “Malaika” came from the crowd as Arjun took the stage. The comment, referencing his ex-girlfriend, actress Malaika Arora, left Arjun visibly stunned.
In the viral video that quickly spread on social media, Arjun's co-stars, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh, were answering questions from fans when the fan’s shout interrupted the flow.
