A fire erupted at a private restaurant located at Do Darya in Karachi, causing the restaurant to be completely burned down and reduced to ashes.
According to reports, the fire started suddenly at the restaurant, which is made primarily of bamboo, and spread rapidly within minutes. Upon receiving the distress call, Rescue 1122 teams, including fire tenders and ambulances, arrived at the scene and began efforts to control the flames.
A spokesperson for Rescue 1122 confirmed that after an hour of intense efforts, the fire was brought under control, though the team remained engaged in cooling operations. The spokesperson also stated that the fire spread quickly due to the restaurant's construction material and strong sea winds.
Fortunately, there were no casualties as the restaurant was unoccupied at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, though the incident is under investigation.
The police also arrived at the site to gather information and assist with the inquiry. The restaurant was completely destroyed in the fire, which left it reduced to ashes.
