The Karachi police have released the traffic plan for the matches of the tri-nation series and Champions Trophy 2025 matches.

According to the traffic police, the matches will take place on February 12 to 14, February 19 to 21, and March 1. On match days, Sir Shah Sulaiman Road will remain open for traffic.

Vehicles coming from Karsaz can park at the National Coaching Center and China Ground. They will use the flyover near Karsaz to reach these areas.

Similarly, vehicles coming from Millennium and New Town can also park at the National Coaching Center and China Ground.

The traffic police have diverted heavy traffic from Soharab Goth to NEPA, and from Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hassan Square. Heavy traffic coming from People's Chowrangi can use University Road.

According to the plan, roads from Karsaz to Stadium, Millennium to New Town, and Stadium Signal to Hassan Square will be closed to heavy traffic.

Vehicles will be parked only in the designated parking areas as per the traffic plan.

Meanwhile, the official inauguration of the National Bank Arena (formerly National Stadium) will take place on 11th February evening, with a grand opening ceremony. Famous singers Ali Zafar, Shafqat Amanat Ali, and Sahir Ali Bagga will perform at the event, captivating the audience with their musical talent.

Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced the details of the opening ceremony on Sunday, promising a grand celebration ahead of the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025, which Pakistan will host from February 19 to March 9.

Cricket fans attending the event can look forward to live music performances, a fireworks display, and a special light show. "Get ready for another unforgettable night," Naqvi wrote on X. "The grand inauguration of Karachi Stadium is happening on 11th February with spectacular musical performances by Ali Zafar, Shafqat Amanat, and Sahir Ali Bagga. Plus, a breathtaking fireworks and light show to light up the sky."

"Construction work at the National Stadium began on September 28, and, by God's grace, was completed by January 31," said PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. "The pavilion building was completely demolished and rebuilt, while new chairs have been installed in all enclosures," he added.
