Kanye West stirred controversy yet again with a peculiar Yeezy commercial that aired during the 2025 Super Bowl. The short, self-recorded clip appeared to be filmed at a dentist’s office, with the 47-year-old rapper lying in a chair, wearing sunglasses and a blue hoodie.
He told viewers that his entire Super Bowl ad budget had been spent on his “new teeth,” leaving him no choice but to film on his phone.
“I spent all the money for the commercial on these new teeth,” West said, smiling at the camera. “So, once again, I had to shoot it on the iPhone.” He then hesitated before directing viewers to his brand’s website: “Um. Umm. Umm. Go to Yeezy.com.”

Fans quickly took to X to share their reactions to the bizarre ad, with many calling it “cringe-worthy.” “Kanye West’s Super Bowl commercial was as awkward as his recent X posts. Filmed on his iPhone while getting new teeth, it was a cringe-worthy spectacle,” one user wrote.

“Kanye spent ‘all the money’ on a Yeezy Super Bowl commercial and this is how it turned out,” another user posted, alongside a clip of the ad.

Beyond the strange commercial, many were outraged that West was even given airtime, considering his recent string of hate-fueled posts. In a series of rants, he praised Adolf Hitler, called himself a Nazi, mocked people with disabilities, and made misogynistic comments.

“Unbelievable that Kanye West gets a Super Bowl commercial after he says he loves Hitler. Absolutely unacceptable,” one user wrote.

That sentiment was echoed by another, who questioned how West was even given the opportunity: “How was Kanye West even chosen to do a Super Bowl commercial in the first place? Kanye West is old news. Can our country not do better with anything? America is at her lowest.”

Reports indicate the advertisement did not air nationwide but was featured in the Los Angeles market. As of now, the website is promoting just one article of clothing — a t-shirt with a swastika on it.
wild that Ye paid for a whole super bowl ad just to only sell one item...

This latest Yeezy drop also includes a T-shirt collaboration with Sean “Diddy” Combs’ clothing line, Sean John. West recently announced that he and Diddy had agreed to split profits from the collaboration “50/50” before Combs’ arrest last year.

“YEEZY SEAN JOHN COLLAB AVAILABLE @ YEEZY.COM ME AND PUFF SPLITTING THIS 50/50 LIKE WE DISCUSSED BEFORE THEY LOCKED HIM UP,” West posted on Instagram. Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution. He has repeatedly denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty.
Despite the Super Bowl spectacle, West did not slow down his social media tirades. He took a swipe at longtime rival Taylor Swift, referencing her recent appearance at the Grammys where she was seen dancing to Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track Not Like Us.
“IF ITS ABOUT THE CULTURE … WHY ARE WE LETTING TAYLOR SWIFT BE SEEN ON TV SINGING A SONG ABOUT TAKING A BLACK MAN DOWN AND ACCUSING OF THINGS THAT CAN TAKE A BLACK MAN DOWN FOR LIFE,” West posted.
Lamar, the Super Bowl halftime headliner, was also a target of West’s rants. “KENDRICK IS BEING USED BY THESE WHITE PEOPLE AND JEWS AND SO AM I,” he claimed.
West’s behavior prompted X to place a disclaimer on his account, warning users that his profile contained “potentially sensitive content.”
The rapper responded by pleading with X owner Elon Musk to let him keep his account. “AS I TWEET IN CODE WORDS AND KISS ELONS A** AND BEG HIM TO NOT CANCEL MY ACCOUNT,” he wrote.
Later, West attempted to downplay concerns about his mental state, posting a video where he appeared groggy but claimed he was in a “positive space.” “I know you’re all thinking I’m going through something right now and I’ve got bags under my eyes and s***,” he told his followers.
“I wouldn’t want nobody to like, do an intervention on me – that’s why I wanted to put this video up cause you’re all thinking, ‘Ye really going through something right now. Somebody need to go get him or go take his Twitter and stuff like that.’” “But I’m just telling you calmly that I am in a good space – I’m really in a positive space, it’s cathartic.”
Despite widespread backlash and condemnation over his statements, West stood by his comments, refusing to back down.
“I got my ideas out – that’s all that happened and that was very freeing for me,” he said. “And it was worth everything – it was worth everything to do that.”
Even amid the firestorm of controversy, West remained focused on his own agenda. He referenced fellow rapper Kodak Black in another video, claiming he saw a clip of Black looking unwell and wearing a Donda chain. Taking it as a sign, West said he planned to board a flight to help him.
